ASU mathematicians underwent training abroad

Master’s degree students of the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technologies Alexander Aleynikov, Olga Yefremova, Anastasia Bukasova and Tatiana Sysoeva were in Kazakhstan from 28 November to 3 December 2016. There they took a training course at the Department of Mathematics under Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan State University (Ust-Kamenogorsk) in the framework of academic mobility program. The host party met the students on arrival, put them in a hostel and gave them a tour around the city and the university.

In the framework of their training, the students attended a course of lectures “System of Gasdynamic Equations as Applied to Ecological Problems”. In the free time they walked around the city and visited several sights.

The training course was coordinated by Head of the Department of Mathematics under Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan State University, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Assistant Professor Muratkan N. Madiyarov.

“Ust-Kamenogorsk is a clean and pleasant city. It looks nice in winter, but it reveals its beauty even more in summer. So if there is an opportunity to go to Ust-Kamenogorsk again, I will definitely seize it!”
