ASU presented innovative biological products and devices at FoodExpo-2019 in Kyrgyzstan

On April 16, the International Congress and Exhibition Forum “The Week of Food Industry in the Kyrgyz Republic” opened in Bishkek, in the framework of which FoodExpo-2019, an exhibition of food and beverages, was held.

With the assistance of the Export Support Center under the Altai Fund for the Development of Small and Medium Entrepreneurship, Altai Krai presented a stand with products produced by 13 companies of the region at FoodExpo-2019. According to the official website of Altai krai, these were manufacturers of oils, functional nutrition, natural cosmetics, woodworking products, innovative plant protection products, equipment for the food industry and trade, as well as higher education institutions of the region. They arrived in the capital of Kyrgyzstan as part of the official delegation of Altai Krai, headed by Deputy Head of Altai Krai Government Alexander Lukyanov.

Research teams of Altai State University also presented their products at the stand of Altai Krai. In particular, these are the devices and products developed by ASU Laboratory for Bioengineering, such as a fluorometer (a device for measuring DNA and RNA concentrations), a GMO tester, Fitolin product for regulating the development and protection of plants, and Bioterminator product for biological pest control. The product line of Prombiotech Engineering Center was represented by Virginiamycin feed antibiotic, Lactoamilovorin and Enzymosporin probiotics, Fermasil bioconservative, and Metabacterin plant protection product, which acts as a biological fertilizer.

On April 15, representatives of ASU, Vice-Rector for International Affairs Development Roman I. Raikin and Dean of the Faculty of Biology Marina M. Silantyeva, attended a meeting with the delegation of Kyrgyz public organizations of compatriots and the teaching staff of Bishkek schools, with which the high school of Altai Krai actively cooperates. On April 16, Jusup Balasagyn Kyrgyz National University hosted a discussion of the planned areas of cooperation between the leading universities of Bishkek and the coordinators of the SCO University Program.
