ASU develops scientific and educational relations with leading universities of Uzbekistan

Tatyana V. Skubnevskaya, Head of the Department of Foreign Languages for Faculties of Natural Sciences at Altai State University, Candidate of Pedagogics, was awarded a letter of appreciation for strengthening Russian-Uzbek relations in the field of education and culture.

The geography of the visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan was extensive. Tatyana V. Skubnevskaya not only visited several higher educational institutions in various regions of the republic, but also took part in the work of the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Geographical Problems and Opportunities for the Development of Tourism and Recreation in Uzbekistan”, held at Chirchiq State Pedagogical Institute, and also conducted scientific and methodological seminar on pedagogical technologies for foreign language training at Samarkand State University

Another result of T.V. Skubnevskaya’s work of in the Republic of Uzbekistan was negotiations on the signing of memoranda on cooperation with representatives of the administration of Karakalpak State University and Samarkand State University.

In addition, it should be noted that a similar memorandum was previously signed with Denau branch of Termez State University. In the near future it is expected to sign a cooperation agreement with Chirchiq State Pedagogical Institute, which is interested in developing scientific and educational relations with the Department of Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technologies at Altai State University.
