Altai State University and the Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn discussed the work plan of the Association of Asian Universities for 2021

On March 30, Altai State University held an online meeting with colleagues from the Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn.

Rector of the University, President of the Association of Asian Universities (AAU) Kanat Sadykov, Head of the Department of International Cooperation of KNU Baktybek Keldibekov, Dean of the Faculty of History and Regional Studies (FI&D) of KNU Turatbek Syrdybaev, Deputy Dean of the FHRS Omurbek Alymkozhoev, Head of the Department for Regional Studies and Kyrgyz Studies of the FHRS Zhamikat Omurova, Professor of the Department of Archeology, Ethnology, Source Studies and Historiography of the FHRS Anisa Bikbulatova, Senior Lecturer at the Department of History of Kyrgyzstan Nuriza Kadyralieva.

Altai State University was represented by President of AltSU Sergey Zemlyukov, Vice-Rector for International Affairs Development Roman Raikin, Head of the Department of International Affairs Mikhail Domukhovsky, Head of the Department of Oriental Studies of the Institute of History and International Relations of AltSU Yulia Lysenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Oriental Studies of the Institute of International Relations Inna Anisimova.

The parties considered the work plan of the Association of Asian Universities for 2021, the issues of holding the Asian Student Forum "Kyrgyzstan-Asia 2021", the II International Altai Forum, as well as the work of the project group of the REC "The Greater Altai."

During the meeting, some changes were made to the work plan of the Association of Asian Universities for 2021. It was agreed to expand the membership of the Association, discussed in detail the issues of holding the Asian Student Forum "Kyrgyzstan-Asia 2021", the II International Altai Forum, as well as the work of the project group of the REC "The Greater Altai."
