AltSU presents "The Greater Altai" at the industrial exhibition "EXPO-RUSSIA KYRGYZSTAN 2022" in Bishkek

The exposition of Altai State University is dedicated to the projects of strategic partnership between universities and scientific organizations of Russia and Kyrgyzstan within the framework of the Association of Asian Universities and the REC of Altaic and Turkic Studies "The Greater Altai", created on the initiative of our university.

More than 250 companies from Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Central Asian countries and Iran are participating in the industrial exhibition and Bishkek Business Forum. Leading universities of Russia presented their expositions, including the Higher School of Economics, Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University, and other universities.

Altai State University is represented at the largest international exhibition by Vice-Rector for International Affairs Development Roman Raikin and Head of the Department of Oriental Studies, Leading Researcher of the REC of Altaic and Turkic Studies "The Greater Altai" Yulia Lysenko.

According to Vice-Rector Roman Raikin, the program for the stay of the delegation of Altai State University in Bishkek is extremely rich. A number of meetings have been planned with the leadership of partner universities, the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Kyrgyzstan.

Yesterday, Bishkek Business Forum was opened, organized by the National Investment Agency under the President of Kyrgyzstan and the Russian company Zarubezh-Expo. During the opening ceremony, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Bakyt Torobaev, Charge d'Affaires of the Russian Federation in Kyrgyzstan Vadim Gusev and other officials spoke.

On June 23, within the framework of the international scientific-practical conference "Universities - new international centers of attraction for education, business and diplomacy", Vice-Rector of Altai State University Roman Raikin and Head of the Department of Oriental Studies, Leading Researcher of the REC of Altaic and Turkic Studies "The Greater Altai" Yulia Lysenko will present their reports on scientific and educational projects of Altai State University and partner organizations of the Kyrgyz Republic.

On June 24, at the panel discussion "Organization of International Cultural and Tourism Cooperation in the Eurasian Space", Roman Raikin will make proposals on the development of tourism cooperation between the mountainous regions of Russia and Kyrgyzstan.
