The project of AltSU on the promotion of the Russian language abroad became the winner of the competitive selection of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation
In 2022, the project, prepared by the team of the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language under the guidance of Doctor of Philology, Professor Lidia Dmitrieva, once again won the competitive selection for grant support as part of the implementation of certain activities of the state program of the Russian Federation "Development of Education", aimed at the full functioning and development of the Russian language. The complex project “The Cycle of Educational and Cultural Activities “Through the Pages of Russian Culture” will continue to form a single cultural space for uniting citizens of Central Asian countries who speak Russian.
The participating countries are Russia, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan (with the involvement of participants from other countries: Tajikistan, Mongolia, China, Uganda, and Kazakhstan). Partner universities of AltSU from these countries will take an active part in the implementation of the project.
The goal of the project is to popularize the Russian language and Russian culture in the context of significant dates and memorable events in a foreign language and bilingual environment using regional studies material, including the Siberian region. Acquaintance with important aspects of Russian culture will expand the linguoculturological competence of the project participants and expand their knowledge about Russia, and will also promote the popularization of Russian culture and education in Russian.
Detailed information about the project with a description of all activities and their results will be posted on the portal "Russian as a foreign language in AltSU."
