Altai State University presented the experience of the flagship university in the export and internationalization of education at the annual Forum of employees of international departments of educational institutions of higher education in the Russian Fed
This is the main forum of specialists in the field of international activities of universities in our country, which is annually organized by PFUR to discuss the entire range of issues of internationalization of higher education. In 2020, the event was held online.
The rich program of the forum included a plenary session, discussion platforms and round tables dedicated to the best practices of attracting foreign students to study at universities of the Russian Federation and ensuring their education and stay, the development of international interuniversity cooperation, including in the context of the spread of a new coronavirus infection. The forum participants discussed the stages and mechanisms for the implementation of the Export of Education federal project.

Babeluk, Advisor to the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, V.M. Filippov, President of PFUR University, I.G. Karelina, Executive Director of the Global Universities Association, I.V. Arzhanova, Executive Director of the National Training Foundation, and others.
At the invitation of the organizers, a report on the experience of Altai State University as a cross-border flagship university in the field of export and internationalization of education was made by the Vice-Rector for the Development of International Affairs R.I. Raikin. Roman Raikin dwelled on the main directions of the strategy for the development of international activities and the best practices of Altai State University. In particular, the results of the work of Altai State University on the development of a network of foreign resource centers, network cooperation with universities in Asia, international educational programs, including those developed within the Greater Altai, the center of Altaistics and Turkology, additional education programs aimed at foreign students were presented.
