ASU entered top-10 classical universities of Russia by the number of enrolled academic competition winners

Rossiya Segodnya (Russia Today) international news agency and Higher School of Economics under the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation presented the results of annual research of admission campaign outcomes.

In University Enrollment Quality 2017 ranking all Russian universities are divided into categories – classical, technical, etc. Altai State University was included in the category of classical universities and captured the 9th position by the number of enrolled academic competition winners and the 22nd position by average Unified State Examination mark.

ASU managed to outrun such respected higher education establishments as participants of 5-100 project – South Ural State University, Far Eastern Federal University, Siberian Federal University, etc. The results of enrollment quality monitoring in 2017 showed that ASU has established itself among three leaders of classical education in Siberian Federal District only giving way to Novosibirsk State University and Tomsk State University.

Annual monitoring of enrollment quality has been carried out since 2009. It includes data on over 340 higher education establishments that admit students on the basis of Unified State Examination marks.
