RUR Russia 2020 included AltSU in the Golden League of the best universities in Russia
The flagship Altai State University is included in the Golden League of the national ranking and ranked 25th among the leading universities in Russia. At the same time, AltSU managed to enter the TOP-3 of the classical universities of the Siberian Federal District, where it lost only to the universities of Project 5–100, and became the only one in Altai Krai represented in the ranking.
The ranking evaluates the activities of leading Russian universities by 20 indicators that measure four areas of the university activity: education, research, international and financial activities.
Altai State University is included in the Golden League of the three most important areas of assessment for the university - the quality of teaching, the quality of research, as well as the level of internationalization, according to which the university showed the strongest positions in the ranking and took 18th place among Russian universities. According to the indicator of joint publications with foreign co-authors in the international scientometric database Web of Science AltSU entered the TOP-15 universities of the Russian Federation.
