AltSU entered the TOP-25 of the leading universities of the Russian Federation in the global ranking RankPro 2020/2021

The Worldwide Professional University Rankings RankPro 2020/2021 has published a list of the best universities in the world.

The flagship Altai State University ranked 602 among the best universities in the world, at the level of well-known universities in Germany, the USA and Italy. AltSU is ranked 287th among the best education institutions in Europe, and 25th among the leading universities in Russia.

RankPro evaluates more than 1.5 thousand higher education institutions of the world. According to the assessment methodology, the university ranking consists of three components allowing to get a complete picture of the university level:

• the academic ranking (50% significance) is calculated using an algorithm that takes into account the most important factors of the university's academic capabilities - the faculty, students, the variety of educational programs for students of different levels of education, the ratio of the number of students at different levels of education, the proportion of foreign students, doctoral students, and professors;

• BC-Index rating (25% significance) - evaluates the availability of information on the English-language version of the official website of the university, including general information about the university, academic information, and communication capabilities;

• public ranking (25% significance) - consists of the university's position in global and national rankings and the results of an expert survey.

It should be noted that according to the most important "academic" criterion for a university, Altai State University entered the TOP-500 of the best universities in the world and took 442 place, as well as 20th place among Russian universities.
