ASU has become one of the three best classical universities of Siberia

According to the results of monitoring conducted by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, Altai State University has been named among the three best classical universities of Siberia. The monitoring has been carried out in 2016 and the universities were estimated by 66 different factors.

Moreover, ASU has taken the 1st place among 13 classical universities of Siberian Federal District according to the following factors:

• share of the master’s degree students – 19%;
• share of Candidates and Doctors of Science – 82.4%;
• share of the new equipment – 69,9%;
• total number of publications per 1 lecturer – 5,25%.

Thus, the analysis of the 66 monitoring factors has shown that Altai State University can be proudly called one of the three top Siberian classical universities.
