Young leaders of 10 foreign countries will participate in international forum at ASU

International Forum of Asian Youth Leaders “Altai-Asia 2016” will be opened on 20 September 2016 at Altai State University. The participants will include representatives of 10 foreign countries.

There are young lecturers and scientists from schools and universities of China, India, Pakistan, Laos, Mongolia, Japan, Armenia, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan among 40 event participants.

“We are making up the forum program so that it would show the diversity and relevance of ASU scientific and educational activities in full. In view of this, we have invited both natural and humane science faculties to organize the forum workshops,” said Vice-Rector for International Affairs Development Roman I. Raikin. “Forum of Asian Youth Leaders will be held at the same time with Educational Forum “Altai-Asia 2016”, so our foreign guests will be able to participate in both international events, which will enliven the program of these forums.”

The key topic of International Forum of Asian Youth Leaders “Altai-Asia 2016” will be in agreement with Educational Forum “Altai-Asia 2016” subject matter. The best education practices of Asian countries will be discussed at both sites. Besides that, the participants of the youth forum will talk about multilateral cooperation development, academic mobility, ASU research directions and so on.

“We will inform the forum participants about our work in the framework of federal program “The Russian Language”, activities of ASU laboratories, including the Center of Space Monitoring under the supervision of Professor Anatoly A. Lagutin. By the way, separate module of the forum program will be dedicated to this topic. In short, the differential characteristic of International Forum of Asian Youth Leaders will be its intensiveness and diversity,” noted Roman I. Raikin.

It is to be reminded that International Forum of Asian Youth Leaders “Altai-Asia 2016” will be conducted at Altai State University in the framework of “Generation Next” program coordinated by Rossotrudnichestvo agency. The program is aimed at young foreigners’ short-term visiting to Russia. This is the third and the largest event organized by ASU under the auspices of Rossotrudnichestvo.
