Institute held a number of events to prevent drug addiction and smoking among youth

In February, at the Rubtsovsk Institute (branch) of Altai State University, We Choose Life, which is a series of measures for the prevention of drug addiction and smoking, took place.

For 1st and 2nd year students, classes with training elements were held, which were named “Secrets of manipulation. Drugs".

Classes were aimed at developing the skills of young people to analyze and critically evaluate information about drugs and cigarettes, develop the ability to make the right decisions, increase awareness of the causes, forms and consequences of drug use and smoking.

During the classes, teacher-psychologist Ulyana Chernousova told the students about the reasons for the use of drugs and smoking by adolescents, helped the children to gain psychological stability and learn to understand themselves, and some features of interaction with people. Also, students learned about responsibility for offenses in the field of drug trafficking and psychotropic substances. In a conversation on the dangers of drugs, students talked about the reasons for using drugs, how to react if someone suggests trying a drug.
