AltSU organizes an expert-analytical session dedicated to the issues of Eurasian integration

On June 24-25, 2021, Altai State University will host the Second Expert and Analytical Session “The Slavic-Turkic World – the Foundation of Political Stability and Economic Development in the Eurasian Space.”

The session will be devoted to the issues of Eurasian integration, cultural and civilizational unity of the Slavic-Turkic peoples.

The evolution of the Eurasian state-legal space has gone through a series of consecutive historical stages, characterized by the interaction of Slavic and Turkic ethnic groups - from the Turkic Khaganates to the USSR. For the Eurasian civilization at all stages of its development, tendencies towards unification, collectivism, and strong power were decisive.

In the context of economic globalization, the growth of international economic ties, the need to maintain and strengthen ties in the CIS becomes obvious. Their basis is the historical and cultural unity of the Slavic-Turkic peoples of Eurasia.

At the expert-analytical session, it is planned to discuss the theoretical, methodological and historical aspects of the problem of Turkic-Slavic interaction, the historical and cultural constants of the Slavic-Turkic world; challenges of Slavic-Turkic integration in the CIS space in the context of globalization.

Leading scientists of the Russian Federation and the states of Central Asia will act as experts.
