The case of international projects of AltSU was presented at the program "Universities of the Future" of the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO

June 26, started the first full-time module of the new School of Management SKOLKOVO, program “Universities of the Future. The New Internationality of Universities”. The program was attended by vice-rectors and heads of international services, academic mobility centers of universities, employees involved in the development and implementation of international projects.

To discuss the problems of the international development of the university, the organizers of the event invited the profile vice-rectors of the universities from Nizhny Novgorod, Tomsk and Altai Krai Alexander Bedny, Artem Rykun and Roman Raikin. Anastasia Minina, Vice-Rector for International Affairs of St. Petersburg Electrotechnical University "LETI" became the moderator of the discussion.

The experts presented cases of the international activities development of higher education institutions, commented on the specific features of the university transformation, aimed at ensuring international competitiveness, answered questions of the participants. The discussion covered a lot of issues, such as integrating international activities into the policies of the universities participating in the Priority 2030 program in modern conditions, organizing interaction between end-to-end processes within the framework of various policies, necessary changes related to recent political processes, problems of financing international projects, and many others.

Presenting the case of AltSU, Roman Raikin focused on the best practices of the university in the field of export and internationalization of education, international partnerships and multilateral networking, support for the Russian language and culture, youth cooperation in the region of Central Asia, which is a priority for the university, he spoke about specific mechanisms that allow the university over more than 10 years to show the high dynamics of the development of international activities.

The participants expressed a common opinion that "internationality" in the development of universities is a complex multi-vector direction that affects all areas of activity and goes far beyond the export of education; and relevant projects should be an integral part of the strategic development programs of universities.
