Young lawyers from 4 countries will visit Eurasian Youth Juridical Forum at ASU

On 12 April Altai State University will host Eurasian Youth Juridical Forum, which is organized by ASU Faculty of Law, Altai Krai Chamber of Lawyers, Altai Krai Notary Association, Kyrgyz State Law Academy, U.A. Dzholdasbekov Academy of Economics and Law (Kazakhstan), Altai Krai Youth Parliament, ASU Department of Legal Support of Banking Institutions. The Forum will bring together the students of law universities and faculties and young scientists from Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and China.

“The modern reality tosses us challenges that must be solved in cooperation with several countries. This involves issues concerning not only extremism and terrorism, but also such peaceful areas as civil, labour and real estate law, social security,” explains assistant professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics, vice-chairman of the forum, Candidate of Law Lyubov Yu. Kiryushina. “The forum participants will touch upon these areas stitched together by modern problems of the Eurasian society.”

The main purpose of the forum is to exchange experience, practices and opinions, organize communication between novice lawyers, solve the universal problems occurring in the juridical space of 4 participating countries and Eurasia in general.

The program will consist of two days. On the first day the plenary session will be held. There students will tell about their educational establishments through video-presentations and take part in academic competitions in 8 areas. On the second day the intellectual game and teleconference with other Russian and Kazakhstan universities will be conducted. Further, the round tables on legal basis of student government, the problems of legal coverage in the Silk Road countries, criminal aspects of the fight against extremism and so on.

The opening session will be held on 12 April at 10 a.m. in ASU Campus C.
