All-Russian seminar regarding intercultural dialogue and civil identity among the young people: opening ceremony
On November 27 an informal opening ceremony of the All-Russian Seminar on Intercultural Dialogue and Civil Identity took place at ASU concert hall. The cultural program was presented by performers famous not only in Altai Krai, but also far beyond.
Organizing committee chairman A.A. Tselevitch stated that the problem of intercultural dialogue is particularly relevant in view of recent world events. It has already become a tradition for Altai State University to host the guests and hold all-Russian and international initiatives such as International School for Young Asian Scientists “Altai-Asia”, All-Russian Convention of Youth Scientific and Engineering Association, II International Educational Forum “Altai-Asia – 2014” and so on.
The All-Russian Seminar on Intercultural Dialogue and Civil Identity among Young People is an important step for cultural integration. Modern society is multinational and diverse, but united. Altai State University has become a place for integration of young people of different nationalities and promotion of extension of the progressive experience in intercultural dialogue and civil identity.
