"Vesti Altai": projects of sustainable development of territories were discussed at Altai State University
The news program "Vesti Altai" showed a video that at a special seminar held at Altai State University, experts shared their views on solving a number of urgent problems of municipalities.
Moreover, these problems are of very different scale. The electric power industry, the environment, as well as the availability of doctors and the reduction of mortality are priorities in the national security strategy. Altai State University presents territory development projects, from global to private, and industry-specific.
One of the hot topics is waste management. According to the waste reform, 100 thousand tons of waste per year were to be sorted in the region by the end of the year. This indicator is currently not met. At the seminar, a project was presented based on the experience of other regions, where waste sorting complexes are already being built.
After the presentation of the projects, the experts discuss the possibility of their implementation. The university has a similar experience.
Altai State University has developed development strategies for four municipalities. In Talmensky District, the document has already been submitted to the session of deputies.
