Altai State University is presenting products of the engineering center "Prombiotech" and the bioengineering laboratory of the South Siberian Botanical Garden at the interregional agro-industrial forum "Siberian Field Day".

On June 29, the forum started at the site of the Siberian Agricultural Park in the Pavlovsky District of Altai Krai. The participants are more than 300 companies that represent all types and samples of equipment, related products, as well as regional leaders, agricultural specialists, entrepreneurs, representatives of industry unions and associations from the regions of the Siberian Federal District.
This is the first time when scientists from "Prombiotech" of AltSU will present innovative products for the agro-industrial complex of their own production among other innovations:

• plant protection products (Fitopumilin);

• probiotics for aquaculture and animals (Aquabacillin);

• growth stimulants (Fitolin);

• complex biological means of plant protection with an organo-mineral component.

AltSU also is presentng products and technologies obtained as a result of the implementation of the strategic Priority 2030 project "Innovative technological solutions and products for sustainable development of agriculture - AgroBioTech".

Ivan Evdokimov, Deputy Director of the Research Center "Prombiotech", explains:

- Scientists from the Research Center "Prombiotech" for the first time presented their own microbial biological products at the "Siberian Field Day" - a probiotic for aquaculture and animals "Aquabacillin" and a means for protecting and stimulating plant growth "Fitopumilin". The composition of the preparations includes natural strains of bacteria of the genus Bacillus from the collection of the Center, deposited by the employees of Prombiotech in the All-Russian Collection of Industrial Microorganisms (VKPM) and the Network Bioresource Collection in the Field of Genetic Technologies for Agriculture (RCAM).

Technical specifications for the production of probiotics have been issued for "Aquabacillin" at Altai State University, the drug is at the registration stage. Regulatory documentation for Fitopumilin is under development.

Both biological products belong to low-hazard substances (hazard class 4) and therefore are safe for humans and the environment as a whole. However, this does not detract from their efficiency in the fight against pathogens of animals and plants. Thus, bacteria from "Aquabacillin" are antagonistically active against Escherichia coli and other opportunistic microorganisms, and "Fitopumilin" is effective in combating phytopathogenic micromycetes (Alternaria sp., Penicillium sp., etc.).
