VI Asian Student Forum “Uzbekistan-Asia” has ended

At the closing ceremony, six best projects selected by moderators for each track were presented.

The organizers also awarded the most active students, athletes and cybersportsmen.

On the track “Education without Borders” the project “Electronic application of international educational programs “Study world” was chosen. As part of the project, the team proposes creating an application for iOS and Android with the information on the largest programs of international exchanges and student internships.

On the track “Scientific and innovative breakthrough into the future. Man and digit”, a project to launch a nanosatellite under the auspices of the Association of Asian Student Universities was presented.

On the track “We are proud of the past, creating the future: the historical and cultural heritage of the peoples of Eurasia” two projects were presented. Students proposed introducing national ornaments into the design of school uniforms – the “Wear Your History” project, as well as a project to create an application – an online guide to historical places in cities around the world.

On the track “Together we can do anything: student public associations and social design” the project “Student Mentor: Formula for Success” was developed by representatives of four universities from different countries. The idea of the project is to create a platform on which students and teachers – researchers could find each other in their areas of interest.

On the track “Media Changes the World: student media, personal and social media projects,” the “Renaissance” project was presented, within the framework of which it is proposed creating a single international interactive museum housing student creativity. This way, people from different countries, logging onto a single platform, will be able to see the work of their foreign colleagues.

Afterwards, the festival of cultures began, where participants from delegations from different countries showed their creative performances and presented the culture of their people. The festival was attended by the dance ensemble of Altai State University "Springs", the ensemble of the Kyrgyz National University named after Zhusup Balasagyn, students of the Tajik State Institute of Culture and Arts named after Mirzyu Tursunzade, representatives of the East Kazakhstan University named after Sarsen Amanzholov, students of the branch of the Kazan Federal University in the city of Jizzakh, and representatives of Samarkand State University named after Sharof Rashidov. The festival participants presented bright and colorful performances that impressed all spectators.

Next, the forum participants will have an excursion program, which will show the historical places of Samarkand and introduce them a little more to the culture of the city.

– I’m very glad that I was able to come, I really like communicating with all the participants, I made a lot of acquaintances here. It was literally a burst of positive emotions. There are so many different, creative, open people here, and it was a pleasure to communicate with them.

Zhibek Kelimberdina, Kazakhstan:

– I am very glad that I was able to present my project “Recycling of cigarette butts to produce energy-efficient building bricks and paving stones.” It was nice to hear constructive criticism and listen to other speakers.
