Financial Support for Orphans
Financial support for students from among orphan children and children left without parental care
According to Federal Law № 159-FZ from December 21, 1996 "About additional guarantees on social support of orphan children and children left without parental support" (as amended on 17.02.2021) all kinds of financial support are provided to students from among orphan children and children left without parental support who study at Altai State University and its branches:
- Full state support
- Monetary meal allowance, additional meal allowance for holidays, weekends and vacation days.
- An annual allowance for clothing, footwear, soft equipment, allowance for the purchase of educational literature and writing materials (given monthly in the amount of 1/12 of the approved standard).
- Reimbursement of intracity travel expenses.
- Reimbursement of travel expenses to the place of residence and back to the place of study (once a calendar year) upon personal application and provision of travel documents to nonresident students.
- Cash assistance to graduates for the purchase of clothes, shoes, soft inventory and equipment, as well as one-time cash assistance not less than 575 rubles.
