Institute of Humanities hosted a meetup with Danil Ryazantsev, founder of the digital agency “Skadium”
On March 29, the Institute of Humanities of Altai State University, as part of the “Digital Saturdays” project, hosted a meetup, organized by the Department of Cultural Studies and Design and the Laboratory of Creative and Digital Technologies “Digital Nomads”.
The main speaker of the meeting, which was attended by students from various design courses and forms of study, was Danil Ryazantsev, the founder of the Scadium digital agency.
Danil captivated the audience from the start with his energy and positive attitude. The meeting took form of a dialogue, with the discussion revolving around current topics such as finding first orders, creating and promoting your own brand, essential skills for designers, the pros and cons of working for a company versus freelancing.
Danil emphasized the importance of having a designer’s portfolio, stressing its alignment with the profile, design culture and constant updating, that is, replenishing the portfolio with new projects.
The demand for designers in the labor market was one of the key topics of the meeting. Danil highlighted that opportunities can be found everywhere, including personal connections, the university collaborations, where you can become part of a startup team, as well as any business seeking an identity, a website, advertising and other means of strengthening the position on the market.The main thing is personal and professional development and courage to express your identity in the field of design.
