On February 14, on the eve of the World Day of Children with Cancer, members of the "Boomerang" volunteer squad of Altai State University visited the oncology department of the Regional Children's Hospital.

Students conducted a modelling session using light plasticine, during which the children created toys that they could keep as souvenirs after the material had frozen.  After the master class, the students spent time playing with the children.

– We met joyful children who were pleasantly surprised by our visit. I was glad to meet new people. I wish the guys to recover,” expressed her delight Kristina Gubskaya, a member of the "Boomerang" volunteer squad.

Volunteers brought with them a “Box of Courage” for the children from the oncology department of the Regional Children’s Hospital, which was collected by college students. The children chose gifts that they liked.

– This trip is the most emotional event that has happened to me in a very long time. I gained new experience, talked to open and interesting guys. I’m glad that there was a chance to teach them something new and just have a good time with them,” Ekaterina Strukova, a member of the “Boomerang” volunteer squad, shared her emotions.

Its new experience marked the beginning of cooperation between the "Boomerang" volunteer squad and the Regional Children's Hospital.

The "Boomerang" volunteer squad expresses its gratitude to everyone who took part in the "Box of Courage" campaign.
