University music seasons of Altai State University presented a new concert program

The Center for Culture and Education of the Institute of Humanities of Altai State University, developing the tradition of University music seasons, presented the program “Music of Human Happiness” on the stage of the Altai State University concert hall.

“There is a legend that only one person on Earth managed to figure out what human happiness is. And this man is Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart,” shared the mysterious story, Olesya Mikhailova, Associate Professor of the Department of Arts of the Institute of Humanities of Altai State University, Candidate of Art History and host of the evening, when opening the event and presenting “A Little Night Serenade.”

Organized jointly with the Altai State College of Music, the evening of classical music introduced the audience to the outstanding works of Mozart, Vivaldi, Strauss and Kreisler.

“The Seasons”, “Imperial Waltz”, “Pangs of Love” – these and other classic works beloved by many were performed by A. Rossinsky, the first prize winner of the All-Russian and international competitions, the Renaissance Chamber Orchestra, artistic director and conductor, Honored Worker of Culture of the RSFSR, Professor of the Altai State University, and P. Guz (violin), soloist – laureate of international competitions.

“About nine years ago, a project called the Center for Culture and Education was established at Altai State University, making the inception of a cherished tradition. Each academic year starts with grand musical programs dedicated to the beginning of the concert season at the Institute of Humanities of Altai State University. And last year, a new tradition emerged – the holding of University music seasons. Thanks to the talent and energy of young performers, coupled with the expertise of the leading stage masters of Altai Krai, we present our audience with to the best examples of classical musical culture, cultivating their refined taste, as classical music reveals all the beauty of global culture, fostering their personal growth and well-being. In a word, we invite everyone who seeks to enrich their spiritual and physical condition, who is ready to touch the eternal and beautiful, to the concerts of the University Music Seasons,” emphasizes the director of the Institute of Humanities of Altai State University, Doctor of Art History, Professor Larisa Nekhvyadovich.
