The program is aimed at teaching current knowledge about modern document management, with an emphasis on the study of electronic document management in organizations. The program in Document and Archival Science belongs to the practice-oriented ones. Practical skills are formed in the leading organizations (archives, state organizations and commercial structures) and are realized with the participation of the leading specialists in the industry in the region: the Altai Krai Government; the Ministry of Culture of Altai Krai; the State Archive of Altai Krai.

Technologies of documentary management and archival management; basics of organization of storage, registration, acquisition, value examination, reference and retrieval means and use of archival documents; normative base of documentation management and archival management; basics of scientific research in the field of documentation and archival science.

Thanks to profound practical training, including in key organizations and departments of the branch, the graduates successfully find a job as civil servants in state power bodies; in archives (national, municipal, departmental, private); they work as specialists of document management in informational, analytical and multifunctional centers; they work as specialists of personnel departments of institutions and enterprises; they get jobs as teachers in higher and secondary vocational educational institutions.
