The program is aimed at training a specialist in biotechnology, one of the priority scientific fields in today's world. The objects of professional activity of the graduates mastering the program are microorganisms, cell cultures of animals and plants, viruses, enzymes, biologically active chemical substances, which determines the uniqueness of the program and the demand for professionals in this field. During the course of studies students acquire knowledge and skills of work with the equipment for research of properties of microorganisms, cell cultures and substances obtained with their help, and installations for carrying out biotechnological processes.

Studying on this program you will be able to carry out biotechnological process in accordance with regulations, to use technical means for measuring main parameters of biotechnological processes, properties of raw materials and products, to control biotechnological processes, to plan experiments, to process and present the obtained results, to design technological processes with the use of Automated systems of technological production preparation.

Professions a graduate may choose: biotechnologist, bioengineer, biotechnological engineer, quality engineer, food production engineer. A bachelor biotechnologist has the opportunity to be employed in biotechnology companies, food production companies, pharmaceutical companies and perfume production, as well as in research institutes and laboratories.
