Representative of the School of Humanities (Karlov University, the city of Prague, the Czech Republic)

On the 4th of October,  the representative of  Human Studies School of Karlov University (Prague, the Czech Republic),  Richard Smejkal with his assistant visited the University and had the business meeting with the Vice-Rector for Strategic Programs and International Cooperation, Irog Dubina. They discussed prospects of cooperation in the sphere of research and education activities.
Elina Gubernatorova, the head of the international affairs office, made a presentation about the University.
That day Smejkal conducted 2 public lectures in English about higher professional educational system in the Czech Republic.
He also showed the film about Prague and told about his University. Students and teachers were listening to the reader with a profound interest, touching upon effective points and getting efficient answers.

Karlov University (http://www.cuni.cz) – is the oldest university not only in the Czech Republic but all over Central Europe. The university was officially opened in 1348. Today the University has 17 departments and is the biggest University of the Czech Republic where over 42000 students of 600 specialties study. Karlov University has 170 foreign partner universities.
