ASU employees announced children’s educational game

Dymkovo toys, Zhostovo trays, Pavlovsky Posad scarfs. The list may now be continued with one more item. Altai State University employees have announced the children’s educational game “Altai Billets”.

The game itself is a package, which contains billets of particular shape made of different Altai timber species (cedar, pine, birch, larch). The author of the game is one of the most active fathers of Altai Krai, employee of ASU IT Department Oleg S. Ternovoy. The idea came to his mind while playing with his son Nikita.

“Altai Billets is a unique game,” says Oleg S. Ternovoy. “Its unicity consists in its simplicity, elegance and universalism. This game can be played by both adults and children. It can be used as a construction kit for developing imagination, artfulness and manual dexterity. It can also be used as Jenga analogue, intellectual games, counting rods. Moreover, billets fill the room with the marvelous smell of freshly chopped wood and can become an excellent antistress toy.”

Altai Billets board game for adults and children will be presented in April in the framework of Altai brand promotion. Right after the presentation the game will come to the toy store shelves.
