Beauty and talent contest among people with disabilities

Regional beauty and talent contest among people with disabilities (wheelchair invalids) was held on 30 March in Siberia Concert Hall. The event was organized by Altai Krai Central Care Facility for the Aged and Invalids under the support of Altai Krai Department of Labour and Social Security. The participants included 7 women and 3 men.

The participants demonstrated their talents and skills in different categories: signature performance, singing competition, choreography, photoshoot, home task. The Concert Hall turned to be too small to hold everyone, who wanted to support the contestants. The audience saluted every participant with cheers.

It was hard for the judges to make a decision, although it had to be made. The main prizes were awarded to Tatiana Kostenko and Nikolai Paraskun. ASU students also took an active part in the competition. Faculty of Arts student Svetlana Kryukova became the 2nd runner-up among women, and Faculty of Psychology and Pedagogics Alexander Kostenko became the 1st runner-up among men.

The all-in-all impression of the contest is amazing. It has great future, solid partners, reliable supporters.
