ASU foreign students attended an unusual class at Barnaul Zoo

2 June 2016 Faculty of Mass Communication, Philology and Political Science

On Friday, 27 May, foreign students of the Preparation Department of the Faculty of Mass Communication, Philology and Political Science visited Barnaul Zoo.

At the zoo they attended an unusual class oriented at consolidating knowledge of the vocabulary on animals, birds and plants. Director of the zoo Sergey V. Pisarev was very hospitable and welcomed the international students warmly. He even showed some real circus tricks with the animals with the assistance of the specialist in public relations Alexander Chebotarev: he sang a song with a swan, fed bears with ice cream from his mouth, petted a wolf and a lion. At the end of the meeting Sergey V. Pisarev presented a book with his autograph to the guests. The students from Poland, Slovakia and China were absolutely thrilled and left their grateful comments in the guest book of the zoo.
