Student of the Faculty of Mass Communication, Philology and Political Science Daria Malysheva took part in the 13th Chinese-Russian-Mongolian Competition “Beauty Angels – 2016”. The beauty contest was held in Manzhouli (China), which located exactly on the borderland between three participating countries. 15 girls from China, 15 girls from Mongolia and 30 girls from Russia were walking the runways and rehearsing over a period of several weeks. The final itself consisted of 3 parts: on 21 December the girls showed bikinis, on 22 December – national costumes, on 23 December – evening dresses. The show and the awarding ceremony were broadcasted on Chinese television and popular Chinese online service. Daria’s parents even said that the people counter on the website sometimes showed seven-digit numbers.

Following the results of the contest, all the finalists received presentation cups, certificates, valuable prizes and flowers. 6 girls got special titles such as “Miss Photo” or “Miss Fitness”. Daria Malysheva joined the list of the 10 best participants. The first place was captured by a beauty from Mongolia.

“After the competition was over, I suddenly desired to learn new languages and understood that I had found new friends. I have received a lot of useful knowledge there. I worked hard and experienced a great variety of emotions. It is difficult to tell this story shortly. The most important thing is that I had to miss a month of classes at the university, but I managed not to waste time. I did not return back home from the international beauty contest empty-handed. It is a one more point of pride for me and a one more step towards perfection,” said Daria.
