A big concert dedicated to Women’s Day took place at AltSU
Spring Confessions was the name of the first large concert program held at the flagship university since the introduction of restrictive measures related to the coronavirus pandemic. That is why a non-contact thermal imager was installed at the entrance to the foyer of the concert hall of Altai State University, capable of automatically measuring the body temperature of a group of people at a distance. A photo zone was also organized here, an apparatus for instant photography was installed, pleasant light music sounded to create an atmosphere of celebration and just to boost the mood.
On the first spring holiday, all the women of the flagship university received wishes from Vice-Rector for International Affairs Development Roman Raikin:
“Despite the fact that nature does not keep up with the calendar, on this day all of us still feel a surge of joy, spring mood and hope for renewal. And all this is thanks to you, our dear women! Because the atmosphere in the team and at home is your merit, which sometimes is maintained with great difficulty. Behind the external fragility and defenselessness, there is great strength in each of you, which allows you to be at the same time a caring mother and a wise leader, a faithful companion, and a highly professional specialist. Thank you so much for your daily work as scientists, teachers, administrative workers, student works, which make an invaluable contribution to the development of the university, the development of science, education in our region and the whole country!"
Roman Raikin wished all women a spring, cheerful mood, health, a happy family and prosperity, optimism, and, according to tradition, presented them a large basket of flowers.
Teachers and employees of the Altai State University were honoured at the event. So, Head of the Department of Social Work of the Institute of Social Sciences Svetlana Chudova was awarded a Certificate of Honor of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. For the contribution to the development of the university and its structural subdivisions, the Altai State University honorary diploma was awarded to Daria Mikhalevskaya, a specialist in educational and methodological work of the Department of Clinical Psychology of the Institute of Psychology Olga Pakhomova, Head of the sector of the scientific library Elena Pushkarskaya, leading specialist of the Documentation Department of the College of Altai State University Evgenia Sikorskaya, Junior Researcher of the Laboratory for Interdisciplinary Study of Archeology of Western Siberia and Altai Rimma Elemanova.
On this day, a lot of surprises and pleasant creative gifts awaited the better half of Altai State University and the guests of the university. In addition to well-known and already loved by the audience actors, such as the Rodniki dance ensemble, the Energy modern dance studio, the Siberia vocal studio, the Jumanji modern dance team, young bands - the Lsis modern dance studio, young comics - a team of future applicants of Altai State University "120 dB", etc.
In the concert program, the best numbers and vocal performances were presented, a lot of beautiful words and wishes were spoken to honour women of Altai State University. All this created a special atmosphere of celebration, inspiration, and the coming spring!
