Altai State University became the best university in Altai Krai in graduate employment

Experts from hh.ru agency prepared the “Ranking of Russian universities according to successful graduate employment” in 2022-2023. Altai State University took 44th place out of 409 educational organizations.

The ranking took into account:

• popularity of the university in the region (the share of the number of university graduates in the total number of university graduates in one region),

• demand for graduates from employers (the average number of invitations to interviews received by one university graduate from employers on hh.ru in the previous year of the ranking is two years),

• relative level of expected salaries of graduates, the amount of their work experience and current employment.

According to the Career Center of Altai State University, over 90% of Altai State University graduates are now successfully finding jobs, including in leading organizations and enterprises in the region.

“We are actively working with students in this direction: we conduct excursions for them to enterprises, invite employers to our university, arrange career-guidance meetings, and conduct master classes on resume writing and self-presentation. We also advise on relevant professions in the region and select vacancies. Our students already from the second year can outline their future professional trajectory and build the educational process taking it into account. Many employers are ready to take students to practice, teach them additional skills and make them job offers after they have received diplomas,” said Elena Prikhodko, a leading document specialist of the department for promoting the employment of graduates of Altai State University.

According to the results of the ranking, Altai State University was awarded a diploma for the professionalism and high level of training of students who are in demand in the labor market.
