Today, 25 March 2016, ASU hosted First Secretary of Israel Embassy in the Russian Federation, head of Israel Cultural Center in Novosibirsk Iris Zweig.

Ms. Zweig delivered a lecture on innovations in Israel in front of Faculty of History students, majoring mostly in international relations. In the beginning of her speech she noted that she was happy to see a lot of female students among the youth studying diplomacy.

“I chose Altai State University to communicate with, because I assume it to be landmark and significant for the region. This is the university, which can provide effective collaboration in different forms, from online lectures to student exchange. This isn’t my first visit to Altai State University, and I every time I assure myself in the correctness of my choice. For example, today your students have been asking intelligent, right questions, worthy of the young diplomats. They have pleased me a lot,” said Iris Zweig.

Ms. Zweig discussed the possible variants of collaboration between ASU and universities of Israel with the representatives of ASU International Affairs Department.

Vice-Rector for International Affairs Roman I. Raikin invited Israeli students to take part in international forums, which will be conducted in 2016 on the premises of Altai State University, and to join the work on scientific and educational projects.
