Altai State University team took part in the forum “Altai Clusters. All Together"

From October 6 to 7, the First Intercluster Forum “Altai Clusters. All Together”, dedicated to the 85th anniversary of Altai Krai, took place.

Recently, a modern R&D center was established at Altai State University. This center will provide an opportunity to expand the strategic partnership of AltSU with large corporations. Also, one of the tasks is cooperation with clusters.

In order to build such interaction, the delegation of Altai State University within the framework of the forum attended the strategic session "Cluster policy as one of the main directions for the formation of the region's innovation ecosystem", a seminar in the field of procurement "School of the supplier", two master classes on personnel management and cognitive distortion, as well as an excursion to the children's technopark "Quantorium."

Our delegation included: Vice-Rector for Scientific and Innovative Development of Altai State University Alexander Dunets, an associate professor of the Department of Organic Chemistry Denis Minakov, Deputy Director of the South Siberian Botanical Garden Maxim Kutsev, Director of the Center for Communication Solutions and Consulting MIEMIS Vitaly Lazhintsev, Engineer of the Information Technology Department ensuring scientific and educational activities Alexey Kashchenko.

As the participants noted, the strategic session raised issues of the cluster policy implementation in Altai Krai. So, Andrey Smyshlyaev, Director of the Altai Cluster of Agricultural Engineering, spoke about the problems and prospects for the development of his direction. Dmitry Lyakhov, Deputy Director of the Altai Center for Cluster Development, gave a presentation on the role of cluster policy in the formation of the regional innovation ecosystem.

The participants of the procurement workshop focused on the supplier support and development program of Altai Krai "School of Suppliers". Representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development of Altai Krai spoke about the goals, objectives and expected results of the program, and also gave detailed instructions on how to become a member of the "School of the supplier."

At the master classes, issues of effective teamwork, competent staff selection were raised, and participants discussed ways to “bypass” the traps of thinking.
As part of the tour to the Quantorium, the forum participants were shown modern technological equipment. The children's technopark operates in six areas: Promroboquantum, Promdesignquantum, IT-quantum, Nanoquantum, VR /AR-quantum and Hi-tech.
