AltSU College to hold a round table on the occasion of the opening of a new chemical specialty

AltSU College became the first vocational institution in the region that has launched the specialty "Technology of Analytical Control of Chemical Compounds" (TAKHS). It will be possible to enroll in this specialty from June 20, 2023.

TAKHS is a wide-profile specialty that deals with determining the quality of products. This profession has the widest distribution in a variety of industries and is included in the TOP-50 most demanded in Russia.

"The course includes a lot of practice - 70% of the entire program. Fundamental theoretical training takes 30%. We are deeply convinced that the best way to become a professional is to utilize and practice knowledge - work in the laboratory under the guidance of experienced and recognized mentors. Students will gain skills in chemical analysis, master physical and chemical methods, learn how to take samples of products, prepare various solutions for analysis," says Antonina Gerdt, executive secretary of the selection committee of the AltSU College.

The most important part of training is internships at specialized enterprises. To establish partnerships with employers, the college management will hold a round table on April 18 "Chemistry of the future: training personnel for various working conditions in accordance with the demands of the regional labor market." The event will be attended by representatives and leaders of the largest Altai companies from the fields of ecology, biotechnology, food and processing industries.

"As mentioned earlier, the AltSU College is the first and currently the only SVE institution that trains specialists in this innovative field. Thanks to the support of the largest representatives of the industry and the best teachers of Altai State University, we will train top-level specialists who are guaranteed to be provided with prestigious and well-paid jobs," sums up Anna Prasolova, Deputy Director of the Altai State University College for Strategic Development.
