National news agency of Uzbekistan: AltSU and TSUV discussed plans for cooperation in the field of Turkology
During the meeting, Rector of TSUV Gulchekhra Rikhsieva told the guests about the activities of the university, about the work carried out in the field of science, as well as about today's cooperation with partner higher educational institutions of the Russian Federation.
In turn, the management of Altai State University informed the host side about the scientific and educational areas of the university, and the international areas of its activities. In particular, in the 2021 QS World University Ranking, the Altai flagship university is taking the 570th place, teaching more than 12 thousand students.
It was also noted that since 2011 Altai State University has been focusing on close cooperation with universities and schools in Central Asia.
Sergey Bocharov offered his Uzbek colleagues cooperation in the implementation of joint projects for the development of oriental languages, as well as in the field of Turkic studies.
The news agency clarifies that today TSUV has established cooperation with 8 higher educational and scientific institutions of Russia. In particular, over the past 2 years, various educational and scientific projects have been implemented with Moscow State University, St. Petersburg State University, Kazan Federal University, Peoples' Friendship University of Russia. Altai State University will also develop a plan for the introduction of online lessons in a number of oriental languages from the new academic year.
