Creative students from different fields will unite here for professional development in the media sphere. Today, the community has unique spaces for media creativity. The first is the Jalinga smart video studio. It allows to create modern digital educational content and videos rich in infographics without operators and lengthy editing. The second is a creative laboratory. Here you can take photos, shoot video podcasts and organize online streaming. The third is the AltSU educational TV and radio studio. All this allows to create a variety of media products from videos and podcasts to advertising banners and logos,” explained Anna Zherebnenko, Head of the Edtech laboratory of the MediaHub youth media community.

The largest media enterprises in the region have become mentors and partners of the ecosystem of continuous media education of the Institute of Humanities. Among them are the Altapress publishing house, the Altai Krai TsUR and the Altai State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company.

“The seminar was of interest to me not only as an adviser on the education of the lyceum, but also as the head of the media center of our educational organization, the multiplier club and the BarnaUM Creative Association of Lyceum No. 73. The experience of media development at the Institute of Humanities of Altai State University is very interesting and indicative. In addition, at the seminar, we agreed with representatives of the Institute of Humanities of Altai State University on an excursion to MediaHub, which will be very useful for our students,” said Natalia Smarygina, a seminar participant, educational adviser at Lyceum No. 73.

For more than 25 years, the Institute of Humanities has been training bachelors and masters in the areas of training "media communications", "advertising and public relations" and "journalism". In 2022, we launched our first postgraduate program in media communications. In the same year, the creative education academy Universum opened, which makes the ecosystem of the media education continuous. We implement about 15 additional education programs for preschoolers, schoolchildren and the adult segment of the audience. The programs are taught by more than 30 media researchers - they are doctors and candidates of sciences, leading media managers and experts of the media market of the region," said Ksenia Melekhova, Deputy Director for Student Affairs, Recruitment and Graduate Employment of Altai State University.

“The main objectives of the Institute of Humanities of AltSU project “Community MediaHub,” implemented within the framework of the Priority 2030 program, are to become a motivator and a point of dissemination of new standards in the production of media products both in Altai Krai and throughout Siberia, as well as to unite all those who need in digital development: students, teachers, industrial partners, school teachers and schoolchildren. Today we offer schools to jointly develop youth media initiatives and build a system of interaction that will help school media outlets take confident steps in the media direction. The Institute of Humanities, MediaHub, the academy for creative education Universum are ready to act as a mentor for school media centers and help build a continuous process of media creativity in the school environment,” summed up Director of the Institute of Humanities of Altai State University, Doctor of Art Criticism, Professor Larisa Nekhvyadovich.
