16 September 2022 Institute of Biology and Biotechnology

From August 10 to 18, 2022 an expedition to the farms of the Tselinny, Pospelikhinsky, Aleisky, Mikhailovsky and Klyuchevskoy districts of Altai Krai was organized within the framework of the Priority 2030 program on the topic "Development and implementation of innovative technologies of steppe land use for the conservation, restoration and effective use of the landscape and biological diversity of steppe farmlands" (headed by Doctor of Biological Sciences, Prof. M. Silantyeva) together with colleagues from the Institute of the Steppe of the Ural Branch of RAS.

A detailed analysis of the agricultural technologies implemented by the farms of Altai Krai allowed to identify innovative and promising technological solutions.

Based on the field data obtained as a result of expeditionary research in Altai Krai, agricultural technologies implemented by business executives of various forms of ownership have been summarized. Their systematization, taking into account their specific features, has been carried out.

Acquaintance with the production activities of farms in the agricultural zone of Altai Krai made it possible to identify patterns in their technical equipment and applied agricultural technologies.
Based on the results of the expedition, the project will prepare a fundamental justification for approaches to identifying innovative land management units in the steppe regions for strategic planning of the sustainable development of Altai Krai.

Candidate of Biological Sciences, an associate professor of the Department of Botany Natalya Ovcharova took part in the expedition.
