AltSU opens up new opportunities for students to form educational tracks

From March 7, AltSU students can create a personal study plan in their personal account.

The age of the digital economy is dynamic and difficult to predict. Markets are developing very quickly, new technologies and products are emerging. We need specialists who are able to qualitatively adapt and work in these conditions. The task of the university is to train such professionals, therefore, the priority direction for the transformation of the educational process is the individualization of education, which makes it possible to gain knowledge and practical experience in precisely those areas that are important, interesting and relevant for the student at the moment.

The start of the model for the formation of an individual route was given at the university in 2021. And already this year, second-year bachelor's and specialist's students of the Institute of Humanities choose the disciplines of the most interesting areas of knowledge for themselves, gain experience in "soft" skills: social, emotional and creative. An additional professional module (minor) is a great way to delve into a field of interest that is not related to the main specialty, broaden your horizons, study what is interesting, try new things, gain knowledge that will be useful in your future career and form a unique set of competencies. The Institute for the Humanities was chosen as a greenfield not by chance - the largest number of educational programs are implemented on its basis.

This opportunity was created for students by teachers of institutes who developed unique and modern programs of additional qualifications in art design, digital public administration, psychological and pedagogical support for families, education management, soft skills and technological entrepreneurship. All these programs are available for selection in the new digital service of the university in the personal account lk.asu.ru from March 7. Also, undergraduate and specialist students from other institutions can choose disciplines and modules, profiles and electives for the next academic year, if this is provided for by the curriculum.
