Master’s degree students from Kazakhstan have completed their internship at the Faculty of Arts

Today, 19 March, the international students have completed their internship at the Faculty of Arts. The interns included the master’s degree students of Kazakh National University of Arts (Astana).

The students have participated in the faculty’s events, visited the opening ceremony of the anniversary exhibition of Altai painter Vitaliy S. Shubin, studied the exposition “The Ode to the Sunflower” in the Shetinins’ Art Gallery. Program coordinator, professor T.M. Stepanskaya showed students the collection of Altai Krai Universal Scientific Library on “Kazakh Folk Music Culture” topic, which allowed them to extend the reference list of their master’s theses. The interns got acquainted to Russian Folk Orchestra art director, Doctor of Pedagogy, Professor N.V. Seregin. As a result, certificates delivery ceremony was held, where the further joint art projects were planned. The ceremonial event was enriched with Kazakh folk lyrical songs performance. Thus, the international relations of the Faculty of Arts have been strengthened.
