Asian Expert-Analytical Center of Ethnology and International Educational Cooperation

Asian Expert-Analytical Center of Ethnology and International Educational Cooperation of Altai State University is the only interdisciplinary scientific and educational center in Siberian Federal District oriented towards research, analysis and prediction of ethnical, geopolitical, social and economic processes on trans-border territories of the Russian Federation and Central Asian countries and in Asia in general. The center staff includes highly-qualified employees of five basic faculties of Altai State University specializing in historical, social, political, cultural and economic sciences.

The center’s priority directions are as follows:

1. conducting scientific research, analysis and expert evaluation of ethnical, political, religious, social and economic processes occurring in Asian part of Russia and abroad Asia, including trans-border territories of Russia, Mongolia and China;
2. development of professional advancement and retraining programs in different aspects of Russian national policy;
3. development and realization of international educational bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in cooperation with Asian partner universities.
