In the international monograph "Shanghai Cooperation Organization: Exploring New Horizons", published by the prestigious British publishing house Routledge, the double-degree educational program of Altai State University and Kyrgyz State University of Construction Transport and Architecture n. a. N. Isanov (KSUCTA) is noted.

In May 2022, the Routledge publishing house published the monograph "The Shanghai Cooperation Organization Exploring New Horizons", dedicated to the analysis of the prospects for the SCO in trade, economic, humanitarian, legal, labor, migration and environmental cooperation. The book was edited by Sergey Marochkin, Doctor of Law, Professor, Head of the Center for International Legal Studies of Tyumen State University and Yuri Bezborodov, Doctor of Law, Professor, Ural State Law University and Ural Federal University.

One of the chapters of the monograph “Humanitarian Cooperation in the SCO: Current State and Features of Development” (authors: Olga Bogatyreva, Ural Federal University and Aida Orozobekova, Kyrgyz State University of Construction, Transport and Architecture, KGUSTA) contains an analysis of cooperation within the SCO Network University.

Among the successful examples of interaction at the level of double-degree master's programs, the network program in the field of IT technology of AltSU and KSUSTA was noted. Within the framework of this program, bilateral academic mobility of students from Russian and Kyrgyz universities has been successfully implemented. Thus, in 2019 double master's degrees from partner universities were awarded to graduates of the Institute of Digital Technologies, Electronics and Physics Victoria Zhuravleva, Evgeny Yevtushenko and Alexey Shutkin.

AltSU is an active flagship university, a member of the SCO Network University. Our university became part of this community in 2012, and in 2013 we signed the first agreements with partner universities. As part of the XIII Week of Education of the SCO Member States "Education without Borders", held at RUDN University on December 2, 2020, new master's programs developed within the framework of the REC “The Greater Altai” were noted as the best practices of the USCO.
