Director of the Institute of Digital Technologies, Electronics and Physics of AltSU took part in the X meeting of the Russian-Kyrgyz Consortium of Technical Universities

From September 21 to 23, the X General Meeting of the Russian-Kyrgyz Consortium of Technical Universities was held in Bishkek. Director of the Institute of Digital Technologies, Electronics and Physics of Altai State University Sergey Makarov took part. At the meeting, Sergey Makarov spoke about the joint educational program in informatics and computer technology, which AltSU implements with Kyrgyz State University of Construction, Transport and Architecture named after N. Isanov.

The Russian-Kyrgyz Consortium of Technical Universities was created as a voluntary association of universities for the development of joint network educational programs. Today it includes 36 Russian universities from 25 cities and 17 Kyrgyz universities from 7 cities.
Within the framework of the consortium, the International Network Scientific and Technical Conference “Integration Processes in the Scientific and Technical Educational Space” is held annually. Teachers of the Institute of Digital Technologies, Electronics and Physics of Altai State University take an active part in the conference every year. In addition, our teachers give lectures for students from Kyrgyz universities.

Sergey Makarov says:

– Within the framework of the general meeting of members of the Russian-Kyrgyz Consortium of Technical Universities, agreements were reached on expanding the list of joint educational programs, including non-technical areas of training. Representatives of the Institute of Architecture and Design of The Kyrgyz State Technical University and Higher School of Economics and Business expressed their readiness to cooperate.

Altai State University has been a member of the Russian-Kyrgyz Consortium of Technical Universities since 2012.
