Dmitry Gubernov, a graduate of the International Institute of Economics, Management and Information Systems, completed a joint master's degree program in Economics at Shanghai Cooperation Organization University.

Dmitry simultaneously did two master's degree programs, at Altai State University and L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (Kazakhstan). In 2022, he received his diplomas from both universities at once.

- I learned about this possibility from the monitor of the group when I just started doing my master's degree peogram at AltSU. It didn't take long to make the decision as I considered that it would be a good bonus. I have mixed feelings about the studies, because I experienced some problems with the thesis due to the difference in standards. For example, at the last moment I had to edit the text, because according to the norms of their university, a single indent is provided, and according to ours - one and a half. And other similar nuances added a little difficulty. Studying remotely was also quite challenging, this was associated with many organizational problems in some subjects (communication with teachers, etc.), Dmitry notes.

According to Dmitry, the training programs at both universities are in many ways similar, so it was not difficult to do the studies.

- But, despite the difficulties, I would definitely advise students to try themselves in this, because I received more in-depth knowledge. It is only important to understand that this is a responsible step, says Dmitry Gubernov.
