Sergey Zemlyukov has been elected as ASU Rector for a second term
The voters were choosing between two candidates: current rector Sergey V. Zemlyukov and vice-rector for international affairs development Roman I. Raikin.
At the end of the conference the results of ballot voting were announced by Counting Board chairman Oleg Yu. Ilyinykh.
In particular, he noted that, according to Counting Board’s records, there were 227 voting papers in the ballot box, 1 of them was rejected. All in all, there were 195 votes (85,5%) for Sergey V. Zemlyukov and 31 votes (14,5%) for Roman I. Raikin.
According to the ballot results, the Counting Board decreed to consider Sergey V. Zemlyukov as Rector of Altai State University for the following term of 5 years.
Sergey V. Zemlyukov took congratulations on his election for a second term and thanked the colleagues for the given credence:
