Welcome Week at Altai State University
In Russia days from 28 March to 3 April were the days of spring school holidays. Russian pupils had a whole week of free time, and, in order not to let prospective students spend it meaninglessly, Altai State University decided to organize the Welcome Week and invite pupils, their parents and teachers.
Within 4 days of the Welcome Week ASU was visited by around 900 people, including 200 pupils of 7–11 grades from all over Altai Krai.
The employees of the Department of Enrollment and Employment presented the most recent information about admission in 2016–2017 academic year, privileges for the enrollees, educational programs, the opportunities for participation in the programs of the Center for Pre-University Education. All guests were able to visit the university campuses.
The pupils also had an opportunity to take a career guidance test and get recommendations from the specialists of the Faculty of Pedagogics and Psychology.
The Welcome Week participants left a number of positive comments, here are some of them:
