Faculty of Biology student undertakes internship in Norway

ASU Faculty of Biology student Galina Kuftina is currently undertaking internship in one of the best Norwegian science centers in Oslo. Galina is the author of tens of publications, participant of numbers of conferences. She had already undergone internship at A.N. Severtsov Institute of Ecology and Evolution Problems under SB RAS in Moscow.

“Galina has approved herself as a student interested in science since her first year at the university. Entomology has attracted her interest, and she has achieved enormous results in this sphere. Galina Kuftina is very accurate and systematic in her research. Galina is currently sequencing gold-beetles’ DNA, which is quite complex. I hope, that the knowledge and skills she has acquired will help her in her academic work and will also help Siberian entomologists,” says Galina’s scientific supervisor, Candidate of Biology, Assistant Professor of the Department of Zoology and Physiology Elena V. Guskova.
