5 facts about canteens at Altai State University

There is an opinion that students are always hungry. This definitely does not apply to Altai State University students, because Altai State University has a canteen where they can eat quickly, inexpensively, and most importantly, deliciously. The editors of the newspaper “For Science” spoke about the canteens at Altai State University. We share five facts from an interesting report.

The canteen has 3 divisions. In the cold kitchen they cook appetizers and salads, the hot shop is for hot and side dishes, and the meat processing room is for preparing convenience meat products.

The cooks start working at 7 am every day.

The head of production, Tatyana Arkhipova, has been working at the Altai State University canteen for 11 years.

The ingredients for each dish are measured on a scale.

The most popular dishes are lasagna, millet porridge and pilaf.
