ASU Faculty of Law student taking part in the International Accordion Competition in Italy
At the end of September the 25th International Accordion Competition took place in Lanciano, Italy. It hosted more than 200 guests from 14 countries. One of the performers was our compatriot Artur Verkhoturtsev, ASU Faculty of Law student.
The participants were divided into age categories. Artur was included to the group of 18 and older, where the 19-year old accordionist from Barnaul had to compete with experienced musicians of 30-40 years.
Nevertheless, Artur’s performance, playing manner and bright smile were estimated at their true worth, and the jury awarded him a second place prize.
